306 Beach Street, George Town, Penang (15 September 2012)

306 Beach Street (GPS: 5.41396, 100.33765) is an Art Deco-style shophouse in George Town, Penang. It was built in the mid 1940s, after the Second World War, for the Mohammedan Endowment Board. The site from Beach Street leads to what was formerly Masjid Langgor, on an endowment land created by Syed Abdul Rahman to commemorate his father-in-law Tengku Syed Hussain.

Beside 306 is one of the passageways into Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi. However this passage has been shut from pedestrian traffic for many years ever since the temple complex underwent restoration.
