We don't usually eat at 88 Cafe when we go to Jelutong Market, but this time around, because I was looking for an "alternative" lor mee stall, we decided to eat at Ah Cheng Cafe, which is located next door to 88 Cafe. From where we sat, I went across to 88 Cafe and ordered the char koay kark. This is how it looks like:
88 Cafe's Char Koay Kark (15 July 2018)

It does look good, doesn't it? I was very hopeful when it arrived.
Unfortunately, it is not as tasty as I would want it to be. To be exact, I found that it was not salty enough, which is a surprise to me, as it looked okay. The second thing is, it was too spicy. I love spicy char koay kark, but when it is not salty and overly spicy, it was just not that nice.
