The Axis Complex, Pulau Tikus (11 July 2008)


The Axis Complex (GPS: 5.43146, 100.31133), often called simply as The Axis, is a shopping complex along Cantonment Road in Pulau Tikus.

The Axis was built in the late 1980's on the site of a drive-in eatery known as Sri Intan. The original anchor tenant at Axis Complex was the Dutch supermarket chain, Tops. After Tops pulled out of Penang, the Axis Complex underwent several changes to tenant until the present one, Bandar Baru Supermarket.
