Judge's Residence, Sepoy Lines Road (8 March 2009)


Judge's Residence (GPS: 5.41836, 100.30985), or Rumah Kediaman Hakim, is a dilapidated two-storey bungalow along Sepoy Lines Road, facing Polo Ground. It used to be the official residence of the chief justice of the supreme court in Penang, but is presently in a state of neglect. On the front gate is the words "Rumah Kediaman Hakim" but obviously no judge is in residence. Its back door faces Turf Club Road.

Getting there

Take Rapid Penang Bus 304 to Jalan Residensi, and from there, walk to Jalan Sepoy Lines.
