Kampung Guar Petai (GPS: 5.44593, 100.47361) is a rural area in Tasek Gelugor. It is largely flat and is occupied by rice fields, interrupted by clumps of village trees and houses. There is a brick-making factory in this area. The main road through the area is Jalan Arumugam Pillai.

The laterite road at Kampung Guar Petai leads to the scenic landscape of Bukit Tok Alang, a private property which is presently (Aug 2015) off limits to casual visitors.
