Kedai Kopi Thor Pheng Cheng (GPS: 5.38906, 100.31233) is a coffee shop along Ipoh Lane in Jelutong, Penang. As with the rest of the coffee shops in the area, it caters mainly to the morning crowd visiting the Jelutong Market. Kedai Kopi Thor Pheng Cheng is located side a lane that connects Ipoh Lane with Jalan Jelutong. During the market session, the whole area is crowded with stalls.

There are a number of hawker stalls at Kedai Kopi Thor Pheng Cheng, among them the curry mee, chee cheong fan and otak-otak. Oh, and there's also a lor mee stall right in front. I have tasted the lor mee only once (on 19 July 2014) and found that it is not bad. It has chicken feet, hniau3kor1 mushroom, bak1iu3phok3, and if you order the big bowl, it comes with a whole boiled egg. This is how the lor mee looks like:

Getting there

The nearest bus top is along Jalan Jelutong in front of Klinik Cheng Ghee. It is served by Rapid Penang bus 301 and 401.
