Malay Street (Malay: Lebuh Melayu, Traditional Chinese: 刣牛後, Simplified Chinese: 刣牛后, Pinyin: Zhōng Niú Hòu, Penang Hokkien: Thai3 Gu3 Au33
), is one of the streets in the inner part of George Town. Part of the street forms the border between the core zone and buffer zone of the World Heritage Site. The street got its name before in the old days, it was a village path through the Malay and Achenese village located in its vicinity.

No. 16, Malay StreetThis property today houses Heong Giap Paper & Stationery Sdn Bhd. This property housed the Chinese newspaper Kwong Wah Yit Poh back in 1913, after the papers were established in 1910 at No. 120, Armenian Street.
