Restoran Foong Foong (GPS: 3.1445, 101.76331) is a Chinese restaurant in Ampang, Selangor. Located on Jalan Merdeka in Ampang, it is perhaps the most famous restaurant for Ampang yong tau foo, and the restaurant has over the decades carved a name as being the place to eat Ampang yong tau foo.

I have so far visited the restaurant on two different trips to Ampang, but eaten there only once. My first trip was in 2004. That was when I ate there. I returned to the restaurant twelve years later, on 9 July, 2016, but was arrived before the restaurant open to business, so my wife and I ended up eating at Restoran Orchard View Yong Tau Foo next door (and were not disappointed at all that we got to try a different restaurant). If I ever visit Ampang again, I hope to come back to this restaurant, after such a long lapse.
