Jambatan Kota LRT Station (SA20) is an elevated light rail transit station on the LRT Shah Alam Line (LRT3) serving central Klang, Selangor. Located between Jalan Meru LRT Station (SA19) and Taman Selatan LRT Station (SA21), the station provides convenient access to Klang's historic town centre, commercial district and nearby civic landmarks. Operated by Rapid Rail as part of the Rapid KL network, the station officially commenced passenger operations on 29 June 2026 with the opening of the LRT Shah Alam Line. The station features two side platforms serving trains travelling in both directions. Although it is not an official interchange, commuters can walk approximately 900 metres to Klang KTM Komuter Station in about 10 to 15 minutes.1

Station Design

Jambatan Kota LRT Station is an elevated station designed according to the architectural standards of the LRT Shah Alam Line. The station incorporates spacious concourses, sheltered waiting areas and modern passenger amenities while integrating into the dense urban environment of central Klang.8

The station features two side platforms, with each platform serving trains travelling in one direction. The platforms are connected via the station concourse, enabling passengers to move conveniently between entrances, ticketing facilities and boarding areas.9

Jambatan Kota LRT Station has been designed as a fully accessible public transport facility. Barrier-free features include lifts, wheelchair-accessible fare gates, tactile guidance paths and step-free circulation throughout the station, ensuring convenient access for passengers of all abilities.10

The station is served by Rapid KL feeder bus routes T722 and T725, connecting passengers with Kampung Sungai Kandis, Kampung Sungai Udang and surrounding neighbourhoods. Rapid KL On-Demand services also provide flexible first- and last-mile connectivity within the Taman Summit and Teluk Gadong zones. Taxis and ride-hailing services are available outside the station entrances.11
