Persiaran Midlands, Penang (14 March 2016)
Persiaran Midlands is a minor road in the Pulau Tikus suburb of George Town, Penang. It connects Jalan Midlands in the north with Lebuhraya Maktab in the south. The road also forms junctions with Jalan Mano, Jalan C.O. Lim and Gerbang Midlands.
Once a quiet street, Persiaran Midland saw an increase in traffic movement with the construction of Midlands One Stop. Over the decades, as congestion begins to build up along the main roads Jalan Bagan Jermal and Burmah Road, some spillover traffic is received by Persiaran Midlands for motorists wanting to bypass the Bagan Jermal intersection.
