SpringrollSpringroll (8 August 2013)

Springroll is similar to popiah, except that it is deep fried. There are two types: the po3piah1 cni3 (meaning, "deepfried popiah"), which is usually available as one of the items sold by the Lor Bak seller, and the choon3 piah4, which is sold as a side dish, particularly at Nyonya-style restaurants. The choon piah springrolls are usually larger than the popiah cni of Lor Bak stalls. They are served with a dip comprising sliced chilli and ang3 mor3 tau3 eu2, a Chinese version of Worcestershire sauce.

One of the places famous for springrolls is the Senior Citizen Association. Sadly, that restaurant has ceased operations. I will search for and list out places where you can enjoy spring roll, apart from those available with Lor Bak.
