St Xavier's Primary School (5 March 2013)


St Xavier's Primary School (GPS: 5.40942, 100.29994), known today as Sekolah Kebangsaan St Xavier, is a primary school in Penang. It occupies part of the site of its predecessor, the La Salle School, which was established there in 1962. As with the former, St Xavier's Primary School traces its history to the Catholic missionaries of Jean Baptiste de la Salle. It is one of the feeder schools for St Xavier's Institution, along with St Xavier's Branch School.

St Xavier's Primary School is located along Jalan Sekolah La Salle. It is next to Shang Wu Primary School.

Getting there

The nearest bus stop is along Jalan Air Itam, 5 minutes' walk from the school entrance. It is served by Rapid Penang bus 201, 202, 203, 204, 306 and 502.
