The Maritime (GPS: 5.39822, 100.32964) is a commercial development occupying a 2.79-acre plot at Bandar Sri Pinang, in Jelutong, Penang. It comprises a commercial complex, called Maritime Piazza, and two high-rise office blocks, called Maritime Suites. Today Maritime Piazza has been rebranded as Automall, and is a popular food & beverage precinct.

The retail units at Maritime Piazza include 29 units of single-storey outlets (753-2,088 sqft), 12 units of 2-storey outlets (1,873-2,939 sqft) and 9 units of shop offices (3,616-6,394 sqft) on leasehold land.

The two blocks known as Maritime Suites house a few accommodation providers including Maritime Suite Penang and Maritime Waterfront Hotel. Maritime Suites comprise the 36-storey Block A with 105 units of duplex offices and 40-storey Block B with 118 units of duplex offices, along with a four-storey podium for shops and parking lot, as well as one basement level of parking.

Located just approximately 3 km from Komtar, the Maritime offers excellent commercial opportunities outside the congestion city center.

No public transport at the time of writing.

Traffic at The Maritime

Traffic along Lebuh Sungai Pinang 6, where The Maritime is located, is still low and with room for increase. On the other hand, the main feeder road, the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway can get congested particularly during evening rush hour.
