Bandar Kinrara (GPS: 3.05062, 101.649) is a large planned township on the northeastern fringe of Puchong, Selangor. Although it is widely regarded as part of the greater Puchong urban area and shares a Puchong postal address, the township falls under the jurisdiction of the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ). Developed primarily by PKNS (Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor), Bandar Kinrara has grown into one of the largest and most comprehensively planned residential townships in the southern part of Petaling District . Bandar Kinrara occupies a strategic location between Puchong, Bukit Jalil, Seri Kembangan and Serdang, approximately 18 kilometres southwest of Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur. Although administratively governed by MBSJ, it is generally regarded as part of the greater Puchong urban area because of its close physical and economic integration with neighbouring Puchong townships. These highways provide convenient access to Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Putrajaya and other parts of the Klang Valley.8

It is served by four stations on the Sri Petaling Line: BK5 Kinrara LRT Station, Alam Sutera LRT Station, BK7 Kinrara LRT Station and BK8 Kinrara LRT Station.
