Bandar Puchong Jaya was developed by IOI Properties during the late 1980s as one of the company's flagship township developments. Bandar Puchong Jaya was carefully planned as a self-contained township offering housing, retail facilities, schools and community amenities within a well-connected urban environment.3

IOI Puchong Jaya LRT Station and Taman Perindustrian Puchong LRT Station, both on the Sri Petaling Line, provide direct rail services to Bukit Jalil, Sungai Besi, Chan Sow Lin and central Kuala Lumpur. Rapid KL bus services further enhance connectivity between Bandar Puchong Jaya and neighbouring townships throughout Puchong.8
