Clapham Common Tube Station

Clapham Common Station (GPS: 51.46178, -0.13838) is a station of the London Underground in Clapham, in the London Borough of Lambeth. Located at the eastern tip of Clapham Common in Travelcard Zone 2, the station is served by the Northern Line between the Clapham North Tube Station and Clapham South Tube Station.

Clapham Common Tube Station opened in June 1900 as the southern terminus for the City & South London Railway until in 1926, when the line was further extended to Morden. It is one of the two remaining stations of the London Underground with island platforms - the other being Clapham North Tube Station. They are the narrowest platforms of the underground system.
