Cockfosters Tube Station


Cockfosters Station (GPS: 51.65164, -0.14975) is a station of the London Underground in the London Borough of Enfield. Despite the station name, the neighbourhood of Cockfosters is actually in neighbouring London Borough of Barnet.

The Cockfosters Tube Station is in Travelcard Zone 5. It is served by the Piccadilly Line. The station is a terminus for the Piccadilly Line. The preceding station is the Oakwood Tube Station (heading towards Uxbridge or Heathrow Airport Terminals 4 or 5).

The Cockfosters Tube Station began operations in 1933. It is the last station of the extension from Finsbury Park. It was designed by Charles Holden in the modern European style. Today the station building is a Grade II listed building.
